Regulation and Innovation presentation to Food’Inn Lab:

On February 8th 2022, Science 2 Food provided a 2 hours presentation to start-ups around regulatory aspect during product innovation. These Start-ups are part of a support program provided by Food’Inn Lab. This presentation aim was to give notions about all regulatory aspect to consider from product design to product launch in areas such as Food, Food supplements and Cosmetics.

Topics included were ingredients, additives, processing aids, Novel-Food process, labelling and nutritional and health claims. Special claims such as Natural, Organic, Gluten free, Vegan were detailed and supported by concrete examples.

This Talk was focused on European regulation. In addition, comparison with US, Canadian and other countries regulation has been made and specific points quickly highlighted.
